Aspen Systems, founded in 1982, is an established, privately-held, two time Inc. 500 (1998, 1988) corporation that designs, manufactures, and services computing products including high-performance compute clusters, systems software, storage/file systems, and visualization. Aspen Systems’ places its highest priority on first class technical support and the creation of products that always incorporate the latest technologies. This allows our customers to enjoy the highest performing solutions at very competitive prices.

Focusing only on the most demanding HPC applications, Aspen Systems has a long track record building custom high-performance servers, storage systems and clusters. Our engineers are professionally trained and certified, and have years of experience in this complex area of the computing market. Their skills and experience will help you design, construct and maintain your high-performance computational compute systems to ensure that the science and engineering results required are attained.

Aspen Systems’ experience with HPC software environments gives us the ability to support a wide array of Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems that are compliant with our users needs. Additionally, we offer and support most cluster management software products, including Aspen Systems’ own ABC, and job schedulers. Our knowledge not only assists the 1st time buyer design the right solutions environment, but also the most experienced and demanding users.

Aspen Systems products and services are used to solve research and development applications in areas such as weather & ecosystem modeling, mathematics, physics, bio-tech, chemistry, health & life sciences, bioinformatics, financial modeling, earth sciences and geophysical research. Additionally, Aspen Systems offers solutions for complex engineering problem solving for users in aerospace, automotive, and other key manufacturing processes. Engineering application solutions examples include computational fluid dynamics, crash analysis, design and modeling, finite element analysis, and composites.

In 2002 Aspen Systems manufactured a high-performance computational cluster which ranked as the world's 8th fastest supercomputer. From 2003 through 2006, Aspen Systems has been named to Deloitte & Touche's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Colorado. The Technology Fast 50 is a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the area. ColoradoBiz magazine has also listed Aspen Systems among its Top 250 companies in Colorado for four consecutive years (2003-2006). Aspen Systems has earned and currently holds Lockheed Martin’s Star Supplier honor (awarded to top .1% of LMCO suppliers).

Our Experience Shows

Since 1982, Aspen Systems has been a leader in computer hardware design and manufacturing. With its entry into the Alpha market with the Alpine line of Alpha-based workstations and servers, Aspen became the first company outside of Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) to successfully manufacture and market Alpha-based systems of original design. Since then, we have expanded our expertise to include a variety of high-performance technical computing disciplines, with emphasis on servicing the needs of advanced technical computing users and corporations.
