On-site Hardware Maintenance:Aspen offers on-site maintenance, either through Aspen engineers in your area, or through one of our many certified hardware maintenance partners. Using this add-on, Aspen can take care of all your cluster maintenance and upgrade needs. When local "eyes and hands" are needed, Aspen utilizes our local resource to accomplish these tasks, freeing your personnel for more important work.
Priority Shipping:Aspen offers a priority shipping add-on service. When you utilize this service, all advance RMA parts are shipped to you overnight or via the fastest available method to your location.
On-site Spares Service:Aspen can stock an on-site spares kit at your location, which we then re-fill or change as needed to better serve your cluster needs. This is a very popular service with larger HPC cluster deployments, as it is based on observed failures on your system and adjusts over time.
Disaster Recovery Service:Aspen can arrange to periodically archive your cluster master and node images to secure storage at Aspen. This service does not normally include your model data, but only the actual node images of all of the discrete node types used in your cluster. These images can then be used to fully rebuild your HPC environment should that be required. The standard image retrieval takes place once a month, and 3 months worth of images are kept for safety.
Vacation Service:Many organizations employ only one HPC administrator, and have no coverage in case of vacations or unexpected absences. Aspen can offer our Vacation Service in several increments, normally one, two, and four week blocks, to allow your administrator that time off he or she needs. During that period, Aspen transitions your cluster to the Total Service package to support your end-users.
Firefighters Assistant Service:Sometimes your HPC administrator needs an extra bit of assistance above and beyond your current Managed Service package. Let's say that your cluster was purchased with the Aspen Standard Service offering, but now you find that you need to implement several more models and MPI implementations. You know that this is really a one-time requirement, so moving to the Flex Service offering level does not appeal. Use our Firefighters Assistance service to purchase blocks of engineering time for Aspen engineers to assist you in any way you see fit, such as software upgrades, informal user training, or other tasks as you require. Firefighters Assistant services are available in blocks of time starting at ten (10) hours of engineering time, and are incremented in five (5) hour blocks.
HPC Co-location Service:What if you need an HPC solution, but don't have the cooling, electrical power, or secure facility necessary to maintain the cluster you need? Aspen can help. Inadequate cooling and poor power conditioning are some of the most common, and critical, problems facing todays cluster users. With our HPC Co-location service, Aspen can build your dedicated cluster and install it in a secure environment with a secure network connection sized appropriately for your data transfer requirements. Aspen engineers can then deploy for any hardware maintenance that is necessary, allowing you to concentrate on the important things, your applications and the data they output.
Whatever your special or specific needs, please rest assured that Aspen is there for you, and we want to help. Talk to your sales engineer about our Managed and Add-on Services and how they might best be used to solve your problems today!
