Myri-10G Interfaces

Myricom's 4th-generation Myri-10G interfaces are the first PCI Express 10 GigE interfaces on the market and the first capable of operating at the full 10 Gbps link data rate. These interfaces can sustain 10 Gbps link data rates sending and receiving simultaneously - with sustained send/receive rates approaching 10 Gbps. Myri-10G interfaces use the same physical layers as 10 gigabit ethernet and are capable of working with standard 10-Gigabit Ethernet switches as well as with economical, highly scalable, 10G Myrinet switches. The new Myri-10G offerings extend key architectural advantages of Myrinet high-performance networking to Ethernet. Myrinet OS-bypass (kernel-bypass) operation with Myrinet switching allows very low latency and very low host-CPU load together with economical and highly scalable switching.
