Aspen Systems Software Support PolicyAspen Systems, Inc. provides warranty hardware and software technical support for the items you have purchased from us. The standard hardware support policy is outlined on the hardware warranty page, while this document outlines Aspen Systems policy on software support. Aspen Systems supports the Operating System (O.S.) and applications that your system(s) or cluster(s) were contracted for at time of delivery. Aspen software support covers O.S. and application upgrades to the contracted configuration only. Support for software installation and O.S. upgrades that were not originally contracted for is available, but will result in additional charges. Upgrades covered by Aspen Systems, Inc. include, but are not limited to, kernel and application upgrades within the major revision number of the distribution you contracted for at initial purchase. Aspen Systems O.S. support does NOT include major version upgrade or downgrade within a distribution, or the re-installation of the system(s) or cluster with another O.S. and/or distribution.
