This Stakeholder will be working on customer facing, high volume traffic websites, driven by both paid search methods as well as organic methods. Work will be accomplished in a Linux/Windows environments using Classic ASP, ASP.Net, and MS SQL. The E-Commerce software is a modified version of ProductCart that is written in classic ASP using an MS SQL 2008 r2 database. This position involves both client side and server side development, and the candidate will be working jointly with the inside development team and outside contractors to execute E-Commerce strategies and the long-term vision of the company’s goals. You will be maintaining and enriching our growing E-Commerce site. Working with product managers on adding new products and features to our e-commerce site. Involved in the full life cycle development process, gathering requirements, coding, and development, support, and maintenance. Working with our in-house engineering team design, develop & implement e-commerce solutions. Responsibility for web content development by taking creative assets provided and coding them onto the site within templates, developing landing pages. Website maintenance updating and revising relevant content. Web-based promotions/marketing responsible and for creating, publishing, maintaining online product catalog. Responsible for working with the web development teams on initiatives and planning and Interacting well with company leaders and marketing team in order to accomplish business goals. Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide market differentiation, performance improvements, and better user experiences.

Skills & Requirements:

– Master/BS in Engineering/Science/Communication/Information Technology or an equivalent technical field as well as some understanding of servers, clusters, GPU computing, networking, and storage.
– Ability to write and debug code without an IDE
– Ability to write content that is authoritative to the coding of the site.
– Strong knowledge of Linux server environments
– Significant independent web development experience
– Advanced knowledge of Social Media and E-Commerce sites and functionality
– Substantial API experience – Google, Bing, Shopping Feeds, Amazon, etc.
– 5+ years programming experience in:
– HTML and CSS
– Classic ASP
– ASP.Net
– JavaScript, JQuery/Ajax
– Browser Compatibility
– Markup Validation
– Content Management Systems (CMS)
– Version Control Systems (SVN, GIT)
