Manufacturing Manager     Aspen Systems is a 40+ year High-Performance Computing (HPC) industry leader. We believe every complex computing problem has a simple solution. We excel in providing Linux clusters, advanced parallel storage, artificial intelligence systems, and rackmount servers to Governments, Universities, and Research facilities that are changing the world through computational and AI endeavors.   The Manufacturing Manager will manage a 40-million-dollar manufacturing facility under ISO9001-2015 standards, including all staff training, hiring, and management aspects. Every order is custom and takes attention to detail, quality, and team management.   • Advanced Technical or Business Degree – MS, BA, MBA (preferred)
  • Professional Engineer degree or (PE) registration preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience in project/program management, engineering design, estimating, and start-up/commissioning of industrial High-Performance Computing /Data Center Projects with a focus on Design-Build Manufacturing /project delivery.
  • Working knowledge of Linux is very helpful in this role.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies or LEAN or Six Sigma green certification preferred.
  • Experience with Takt Time as a production management tool in low-volume, high-mix manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of ESD S20:20 standard protection procedures.
  • Understanding of data center power (480v) and cooling, including liquid cooling.
  • Experience with ISO9001-2015 QMS and compliance best practices.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint and Teams is preferred.
  • Familiarity with organizational change management principles and models
  • Ability to lead many unique complex projects simultaneously from start to finish.
  • Working with the engineering team to resolve post-production issues.
  • Makes decisions independently depending on the understanding of the level of complexity.
  • Functions autonomously most of the time and knows when to bring in cross-functional teams or upper management.
  • Experienced with root cause analysis failure processes.
  • Ability to be strategic/think critically and analytically.
  • Initiates and maintains relationships with key staff and other departments.
  • Contributes to the company in an above-and-beyond position.
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Willing and available to accommodate travel for business
  • Work is typically performed walking (10%), sitting (30%), standing (40%)
  Education Requirements: Masters, BA/BS, or advanced degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in a full-time engineering role. Professional Engineer (PE) registration is preferred. Preferred History: 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing management utilizing software for management and project efficiencies. LEAN or Six Sigma Manufacturing experience in a computer-driven enterprise. Computer integration manufacturing or similar production line. . What we provide:

  • 10% target bonus yearly
The ability to work full-time in the Wheat Ridge, CO, manufacturing facility is mandatory for this role.
