Aspen Systems warranties are a great way to ensure that hardware failures don’t cause extended downtime or headaches. As an Aspen Systems customer, you receive software support free of charge from Aspen Systems for the life of your cluster or server under our Standard Service Package. If you select the Flex Service Package or Total Service Package, you’ll even receive all software upgrades and system maintenance to your system as you request them.
Aspen Systems hardware warranties are available with all our systems, and our warranties allow much more flexibility than many other vendors. Aspen Systems offers a Total System hardware warranty, which is the more traditional warranty covering all components delivered in your order, or separate warranties on different components in your system. Separate component warranties are very popular with customers who operate larger systems with phased upgrade requirements. Aspen Systems can warranty your entire system for the period of time chosen, or different components of your delivered systems separately, allowing you the capability to cover all, or only part of your environment for different periods of time.
The “Interconnect” warranty type covers the delivered systems low latency interconnect, cables, switches, and high speed switches.
The “Total System” hardware warranty type is the more traditional warranty that covers every component in your delivered system.
This warranty type covers your RAID and Storage components including HDD/SDD, controller’s, software upgrades and cables.
Once you have chosen one of the Aspen Systems warranties you desire, you can select the amount of time you wish each warranty type to be in effect. We warranty systems for a maximum period of five (5) years from date of delivery. If you later wish to extend your hardware warranty after your system is delivered, it is very easy to do so using our Warranty Extensions. Speak to your sales engineer for more information.

All of our hardware warranties consist of parts and labor warranty and support for the period of time contracted after your system is delivered. Aspen Systems provides replacement parts during your warranty and advanced part replacement for companies with good credit standing. Advance replacement parts must be returned to Aspen Systems within 10 days of the replacement taking place, or you will be billed for the part. For each warranty claim, you must obtain an RMA number from Aspen Systems. Items not included in the warranty coverage incur Aspen Systems normal repair rates, including return freight charges. Aspen Systems is not responsible for damages incurred in shipping.

A hardware warranty extension from Aspen Systems is a great way to keep your system running smoothly longer. As an Aspen Systems customer, you receive software tech support from Aspen Systems for the life of your system under our Standard Service plan. If you selected our Aspen Systems Flex Service package or Aspen Systems Total Service package, you’re even receiving software upgrades to your cluster environment as you request them, but what about hardware failures? When you purchased your cluster, you selected one of the following hardware warranties for your systems and peripherals, RAID systems, and Interconnect.
Aspen Systems offers warranty extensions in one year increments starting from the last date of your previous warranty coverage.
Your systems total warranty period can not exceed five years from the date of delivery for your system.
If your current hardware warranty is still in place, your warranty coverage can quickly be extended by your sales engineer.
