Job description and responsibilities:

• Assembling and testing servers, storage systems, and other high-performance systems by installing motherboards, processors, RAM, storage devices, networking cards, GPUs, SSD, NVMEs,
• TCM, and other system components.
• Installing and configuring different Linux distributions.
• Following procedures and policies
• Receiving shipments at our dock and correctly entering part and serial numbers into our ERP system.
• Issuing out components to jobs and orders using barcoding systems.
• Ensure proper cable labeling and cable management inside systems.
• Updating system BIOS, BMC, IPMI, and other firmware and configuring the settings. Including switches and RAID devices
• A strong understanding of burn-in and QA processes.
• Install basic Linux and Windows images.
• Rack and stacking systems, switches, KVMs, UPS's, PDUs, etc., into racks and artistically cabling up everything, CAT 6 and fiber and/or other high-speed networking.
• Follow a systematic approach with problem-solving, debugging, repair, and troubleshooting of all systems, balancing power distribution units, and auditing finished products before shipping.
• Boxing up and shipping final products and ensuring any special shipping methods processes are adhered to.
• Inventory counting and management.
• Working with manufacturers and distributors to request DMRs and ensure they are processed promptly.
• Follow ISO9001-2015 and ESD20:20 policies and procedures.
• Provide input and suggestions on the currently implemented training material.
• Basic warehouse and office maintenance.
• This position requires obtaining a TS/SCI clearance or a current clearance that is active

Physical requirements:

• This role includes standing, sitting, walking up to 7 hours daily, lifting, and carrying up to 70lb. Repetitive tasks, reaching, pulling, and pushing at times, are required. You should always be in good physical shape and health for this role.

Clearance Requirement:

• This position requires the ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance.
• To be eligible for clearance, US Citizenship is required, and an employee must agree to participate in a background screen and credit check.

Applicant requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Pass drug testing, including marijuana, and be drug-free.
• Have reliable, personal transportation.
• Be able to travel out of state at times up to 15% of the year.
• Be available for occasional overtime work, including weekends.

The ideal candidate has:

• Worked in a data center or SCIF environment and has experience assembling and troubleshooting servers and storage systems.
• Racked and stacked rackmount servers' systems.
• Experience with Epicor ERP software or other ERP packages.
• Strong attention to detail and on-time performance

Education:

• Bachelor of Computer Science or Master or equivalent engineering degree.

They will support HPC clusters, AI/ML/GPU computing, parallel file storage systems, and enterprise-class servers from on-site installation to remote managed services. They will also provide tech support using industry-standard methodologies. The candidate will work with HPC software stacks, including Linux operating systems, MPIs, schedulers, and low-latency interconnects such as InfiniBand. Familiarity with software compilers, programming, Linux administration, diagnostic procedures, HPC applications, software maintenance, and advanced networking experience is required. Qualified candidates must possess most of the following skill sets and experience:

• 8+ years of Linux System Admin experience in a production/enterprise environment- BS/Master's degree in Engineering/Science/Communication/Information Technology.
• Excellent troubleshooting, listening, and problem-solving skills- Ability to install, configure, and cable network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls)
• -Must be a bash shell scripting expert. PHP coding abilities are a bonus.
• Extensive knowledge of Ubuntu, Alma, Rocky, RedHat, SuSE Enterprise Linux, Windows, *BSD
• Experience with standard services (DNS, DHCP, TFTP, PXE, etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot server and storage software/hardware issues.

• Ability to build applications from source and troubleshoot compiling issues
• Experience with compilers such as (GNU, Intel, and AOCC)

Standard web full-stack software experience is needed, including PHP and Javascript (React, JQuery, JSON, Angular, Vue.js, etc.). A strong understanding of web frameworks, APIs, multiple back-end languages, and databases. Especially MySQL and MSSQL. In our manufacturing environment, you will manufacture advanced computing technologies in an ISO9001-2015 & ESD S20.20 facility. You will work between three departments of Production, Tech Support, and Engineering. You will have direct responsibility in a leadership role. It is a cross-functional team position and requires the ability to understand/run each department and maintain and enforce policies at a technical level. You will create training materials for your departments, train those in their roles, and drive successful team meetings to the assigned goals.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• BA/BS/Master or advanced degree in a technical field Engineering/Communication/Information Technology/Computer Science.
• 5+ years of experience as a Linux administrator/DevOps in a leadership role.
• An understanding of ISO9001-2015 and Quality Manufacturing
• Familiarity with software compilers. Linux programming environments, BASH.

• The ability to flash BIOS, SSD, NVMe, Raid Cards, Network Cards, Switches,
